In the fast-paced world of telecommunications, where connections are made through wires and signals, Rachel and Henry found a connection of a different kind – one that transcended the boundaries of technology and touched the depths of their hearts. Their love story is born in the heart of a telephony company using the original dating app - Outlook. 

 

It all began with a trip to Newcastle on Valentines day for a customer meeting, where their professional relationship blossomed into something more – a connection grounded in mutual respect and shared passion for their work.

 

Their connection deepened beyond the confines of the office, as they spent late nights working on projects together, exchanging ideas over cups of hot chocolate, and discovering shared interests in sport and their love of Pizza!. What started as colleagues collaborating on projects soon turned into two people building a life together. 

 

On a crisp winters day 5 years later, Rachel and Henry jogged side by side along the frosted Kennet canal path, their breath forming clouds in the chilly air. Little did Rachel  know that this ordinary run would turn into an extraordinary moment that would change their lives forever.

 

Stopping for a strategic break at the nature reserve overlooking a frozen lake, Rachel turned around to see Henry drop to one knee, and present a ring box in his hand. And in that magical moment, amidst the beauty of the winter's embrace, Rachel said yes, smiling overflowing with happiness.
